Deputy Head Of Year

Act as Deputy in the absence of the Head of Year, providing continuity of leadership and support. Work closely with the Head of Year to foster a positive, high-expectations ethos that promotes strong behaviour, attendance, and effective learning.

Deliver outstanding pastoral care alongside a focus on academic success, ensuring all students are supported to thrive. Promote and embed school values across the year group, maintaining clear accountability for pastoral provision.

Monitor and track student progress and achievement, implementing targeted strategies to maximise outcomes and address underachievement. Contribute to the leadership, support, and development of the form tutor team.
