The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management of the operational delivery and ensure the organisation's strategic vision, values and objectives in protecting the UK from the threat of vehicle finance fraud/theft related crime as well as support wider vehicle crime work-streams. NaVCIS is a national police team that forms part of the NPCC National Vehicle Crime Portfolio. It consists of about 40 staff and supervisors who work both on site at the College of Policing, at ports and others who work remotely for operational need.

Essential Qualifications
- Educated to QCF Level 6 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
- Significant experience of strategic leadership including partnership working; continuous improvement; achieving business objectives; compliance and change management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to represent and promote the organisation and its work.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly writing and presenting of reports and documents to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of managing and developing staff and robustly managing performance, conduct and attendance.
