Deputy General Manager required to lead hospitality operations! Earn up to £40K Join a high-profile hospitality operation based in Chertsey, where you'll play a key leadership role overseeing service delivery, operational performance, and team culture within a fast-paced environment serving senior executives and high-level stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an operationally focused hospitality leader looking to step into a visible and influential Deputy General Manager position. What you'll be doing as a Deputy General Manager:
- Leading the overall day-to-day operation across hospitality, retail café, and executive dining
- Driving service standards and ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience
- Acting as a visible operational leader, supporting and developing both kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Overseeing hospitality delivery for executive meetings, working lunches, private dining, and key business functions
- Managing operational planning for large-scale annual events, including staffing strategy and logistics coordination
- Supporting financial performance through labour management, stock oversight, and operational efficiencies
- Working closely with senior leadership to continuously improve standards, processes, and service delivery
- Identifying opportunities for innovation, seasonal activations, and operational improvements
- Ensuring compliance, health & safety, and SOP standards are maintained across the site
- Creating a positive, motivated, and high-performing team culture
Proven leadership experience within hospitality, corporate dining, hotels, events, or venue operations - Strong operational mindset with the ability to balance service excellence and commercial performance
- Experience managing teams within high-profile, fast-paced hospitality environments
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Strong understanding of guest experience and premium hospitality standards
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining attention to detail
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting labour, stock, and operational efficiencies
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and within highly visible environments
- Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
