Full Job Description
To be responsible for the efficient operational aspects of the Facilities Department within the site required to manage:
The post holder will lead on the development of standardisation of practices and processes within their area of responsibility to support the delivery of modern Facilities service with and a customer care focused approach to delivery.
The post holder will hold a key managerial role within the Estates and Facilities function and will lead by example providing a professional, positive customer focused ethos, and will strive to deliver high quality outcomes., Support the Facilities team so as to ensure there are robust systems and processes embedded within area of responsibility, that are efficient, have sufficient governance in place and where possible are standardised in line with overall Estates and Facilities systems and processes;
Manage the preparation of timely accurate reports so they are produced and submitted as requested by Estates management and Safety and Quality team
To assist with the Development of key performance indicator reports for the Facilities department so as to monitor the performance of the Facilities teams identifying performance targets and provide regular reports on performance which recommend any required improvements
Produce regular performance reports and highlight reports
Support Facilities so as to comply with all relevant legislation and guidance including
Health Technical Memorandums and Standing Financial Instructions, Food Safety Legislation, Support the Facilities team so they adhere to the standards of the NHS Code of Conduct for Managers and consistently demonstrate and promote behaviours and actions reflective of the Trust's values
Support cost improvement opportunities and service efficiencies that may improve the organisation's operations
To ensure that all risks and issues are identified, addressed and
mitigated or notified appropriately
