Deputy Director of Quality and Safety

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational senior leader to join Shefield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trustas Deputy Director of Quality and Safety.Reporting to the Director of Nursing, Professionsand Quality, the post holder will provide strategic leadership across patient safety, learning from deaths, safeguarding, patient experience, complaints and PALS, clinical governance, CQC compliance and regulatory assurance.This is a pivotal leadership role providing expert advice to the Trust Board and Executive Team, ensuring the organisation delivers safe, effective and high-quality services and maintains robust assurance regarding quality and safety.We are seeking a highly credible leader with substantial NHS experience, strong strategic capability, exceptional influencing skills and a demonstrable track record of improving quality and safety outcomes., The Deputy Director of Quality and Safety is responsible for providing strategic leadership, professional expertise and operational oversight across the Trust's quality governance and patient safety agenda.The post holder will ensure effective governance systems are in place to provide assurance regarding patient safety, safeguarding, learning from deaths, patient experience, complaints management, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
