Deputy Department Manager - RNA

With the demand for Endoscopy Services increasing we have the opportunity to expand our management team within York Endoscopy. As Deputy Department Manager you will be assisting with the daily running and development of the Endoscopy Services. We work closely with Scarborough and Bridlington Endoscopy, ensuring training and development is developed and delivered equally across the Trust. As part of your role you will assist with developing training and writing guidelines.,

• Managing the daily running of the Endoscopy department across York Endoscopy.
• Assisting clinicians with diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy procedures.
• To complete pre-assessment for patients attending Endoscopy
• To participate in int he Nurses on-call rota.
• Complete Erosters and keep HR documents up to date working closely with staff members.
• To keep training and development documents up to date with current guidelines and complete training with staff members.
• To ensure all mandatory training is completed and attend other training opportunities which will assist you to ensure excellence care and practise within the department.
