Full Job Description

  • Leading care practices in the home and deputising for the Registered Manager
  • Overseeing staff supervision, development, and performance
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Working directly with children to promote positive relationships and outcomes
  • Planning shifts, allocating resources, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations
  • Supporting the development and implementation of individual care and therapeutic plans
  • Collaborating with external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for young people
  • Promoting an inclusive, nurturing, and stable home environment

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Care Manager to help lead our dedicated team in providing therapeutic care to children and young people in our residential homes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a commitment to best practice, and a desire to help young people thrive., · 1 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in residential care
  • · 2 years' experience working in residential childcare · Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) · Willingness and ability to complete Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification · Excellent understanding of child development, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding · Proven team leadership, organisation, and delegation skills · Knowledge of regulations and legal frameworks in residential care · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Confident in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) · Full UK Driving Licence · Resilience, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure · Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins · Commitment to ongoing professional development Desirable: · Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management · Experience managing staff performance and leading team development Crystal Care Solutions reserves the right to pre-screen and interview whilst the advert is open, and close the advert earlier than the advertised date in the event of a high number of candidates.
