Full Job Description
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard
- Support and guide kitchen staff, helping to build skills and confidence
- Manage food production processes to maintain smooth workflow and quality control
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
Strong understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace - Knowledge of food safety standards and safe working practices
- Willingness to complete relevant training and ongoing CPD
- Experience in food preparation, cooking and service
- Familiarity with hygiene standards in a professional kitchen
- Ability to prepare homely, nutritious meals that meet a wide range of dietary needs
- A teamâ€'focused attitude and good communication skills, An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
