Experteer Overview As Deputy Associate Chief Operating Officer for the Medicine & Emergency Care Group, you will deputise for the COO and steer operational performance, quality, activity and financial delivery while driving service improvement and transformation. You will bring senior NHS-operational experience, strong financial and planning skills, and a proven ability to lead change across complex services. You'll influence across clinical, nursing and corporate partners to meet trust priorities and national standards, shaping capacity, governance and efficiency programmes. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact patient care at scale within a large acute hospital trust. Pay / Benefits
- Deputise for the Associate Chief Operating Officer and provide leadership to operational managers Ensure delivery of operational, quality, activity and financial targets Lead service redesign, capacity planning, transformation and efficiency programmes Support governance, risk management, complaints, quality improvement and inspection readiness Collaborate with clinical leads, nursing, finance, HR and corporate teams to meet Trust priorities Engage in strategic planning and change management across the Directorate and Care Group Work with commissioning colleagues to ensure services meet population needs Tasks Significant senior operational management experience in an acute hospital setting Proven track record of delivering performance, financial and service improvement objectives Experience of business planning, transformation and cost improvement Strong understanding of NHS strategy, governance, performance standards and financial management Ability to analyse complex information and influence senior stakeholders Key requirements flexible working Timewise accreditation
