Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual for the role of Deputy Accommodation Manager based at NHS Romford, Essex, RM7 0GP. You will ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered and will assist staff with any escalations that may arise, whilst also maintaining a Health and Safety compliant environment. The role of Deputy Accommodation Manager will include:
- Assisting the Accommodation Manager in running the site
- Compliance management
- Assist with the daily running and planning of a site team
- Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff
- Oversee the management of void rooms to make sure they are turned around within a timely manner
- Oversee the cleaning and repairs for the properties
- Assisting with the preparation of local budgets and monitoring spend- raising purchase orders
- Support with the monitoring of contract service performance, taking action to deal with poor performance and promoting best practice
Some experience of working in the student accommodation, hotel, hospitality or property sector is essential - Excellent interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills
- Experience of managing staff within a customer facing environment
- Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems
- Experience of residential booking systems is desirable
- Good working knowledge of compliance and building management
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
