Depot Operative With FLT Licence

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Depot Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the depot, ensuring equipment, facilities, and vehicles are maintained and prepared to the highest standards.,

• Preparation of equipment for hire, use, or deployment.
• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and basic repairs on equipment.
• Cleaning and maintenance of all welfare units, working areas, and depot facilities.
• Sign making and the preparation of site signage will form a regular part of the role, including producing, maintaining, and organising signs as required.
• Safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Stock handling and organisation within the depot.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Supporting the wider depot team with operational requirements.
  
  The successful candidate will be practical, organised, and committed to working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment., Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
• Valid FLT Reach Truck Licence.
• Previous experience working within a depot, warehouse, yard, or similar operational environment.
• Practical maintenance and repair skills.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
