Full Job Description

Main Duties To provide administrative support to the Dental Radiology Department. To provide reception duties to the Leeds Dental Institute Radiology Department. Use of specialised Radiology systems Radiology image handling and storage Use of patient booking systems To attend to patients both in person and on the phone, managing their referrals and booking in their appointments. Support patients and clinical team by providing administrative support and through strong communication skills. Work as team to deliver a high standard of service and ensure a positive patient experience. Maintain Trust Standards in interactions with all colleagues, patients and clinical staff. What you will bring to the role KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Essential Previous clerical/administrative experience. Must be willing to attend relevant training courses. A good awareness of and understanding of issues surrounding diversity and patient involvement. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good command of spoken and written English. Able to use own initiative. Experience of using MS Office applications. Has an excellent telephone manner Is reliable and has a professional attitude A

  • - C grade in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification or experience of dealing with non-routine activities, such as answering specialist dental radiology queries, referrals. Desirable Work experience in a health or social care setting. Has knowledge of the NHS environment. Holds the European Computer Driving License Experience of using Hospital Information Systems and PACS. Personal or work experience of working with diversity e.g. disabled people, people from different cultures.
