Job Purpose: To provide dental care for priority groups in a variety of settings. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide a wide range of primary dental care for patients including children, people with disabilities, older people and those referred by general dental practitioners. Adhere to department and professional standards/protocols without direct supervision. Comment on department policies and propose changes to departmental working practices or procedures as necessary. Access communication from the Trust and from the department via e-mail. Complete FP17 forms for patients and determine which band the course of treatment falls into. Organise the collection of patient charges and report any bad debtors to the Head of Dental services.
