Introduction
Coatham Dental Practice are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join their team as an apprentice dental nurse. The successful candidate will gain a Level 3 Dental Nursing apprenticeship.
About the Employer
Small friendly but busy dental practice established in the Coatham ward for over 60years. Excellent staff relations and work as a close team supporting each other. All staff are encouraged to gain extended duties and all but 1 nurse hold oral health education certificate and fluoride varnish. Other duties performed by nurses are x-rays and impressions. We actively use the EDN’s within their own clinics and all staff are very hands on with patients. It is important to be able to work using your own initiative at a fast pace and bring ideas to the team.What You'll Do
To work in surgery supporting the dentist to treat patients performing all nursing duties including:
- Decontamination
- Cleaning
- Setting up and taking down surgeries
- Assistance during procedures
- Taking and writing up patient notes
- Charting
Once trained, giving advice to patients and progressing to learn reception duties.
Training Outcome
Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.

- Essential - GCSE - Maths and English - C/4 or Above

Working Week: Monday - Friday, between 8.30am and 5.30pm. Shifts to be confirmed.
