This exciting leadership role will support the leadership team in the operational delivery of the Community Dental Service, ensuring high standards of patient care, workforce and human resource support and service performance. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and operational colleagues to support service delivery, workforce planning, staff leadership and quality improvement initiatives across the service. The role includes responsibility for supporting and supervising Sector Leads and dental nursing teams, responding to patient concerns and complaints, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention, health and safety and governance requirements. You will also contribute to service development projects and help identify opportunities to improve patient experience and operational efficiency., Please read the attached Job description and person specification for more details about this role. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Care Professional to join our management team as a Senior Dental Nurse Team Leader., We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills, who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting others to succeed. Applicants must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and have experience working within a dental environment. Management experience and additional qualifications in leadership, quality improvement or project management would be advantageous.,

  • Degree level management qualification and /or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience of working at this level.
  • Registered with the General Dental Council. Dental Care Professional
  • Dental care professional ,post qualification in a specialist area of dentistry, Project Management Certificate.
  • IOSH or equivalent qualification.
  • Quality Improvement Methodology qualification, Operational management experience
  • Experience of working with complex patient groups.
  • Experienced in the management of highly complex clinical and non-clinical information, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management
  • Ability to problem solve and lead/manage change
  • Ability to work with own discretion
