Our Work Experience Programme offers you the chance to join the crew of your local restaurant for five days. Gaining valuable experience of an exciting and high-performing workplace, while developing essential skills that will last you a lifetime. The programme has been carefully designed to help prepare you for the world of work, whether you're just starting out or want to brush up your skills after a break, or career change. As well as developing essential skills like teamwork, problem solving, leadership and setting goals, you'll have the chance to practise key employability skills like writing CVs, job applications, and answering interview questions. Placements take place across 5 consecutive days, either Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday., engagement Meet new people From customers to colleagues, learn to engage with new people and practice core communication skills. experiences Teamwork & problem Solving Experience teamwork and problem solving in action across the restaurant. goal setting Learn from others Gain support setting goals and preparing for the world of work or experiencing something new. employability Employability skills Get the chance to practise key employability skills like writing CVs and completing job applications. interview Practice your interview capabilities Obtain one to one interview experience with support answering interview questions. experiences Gain new experiences Prepare you for the world of work in a local community business building connections.

We're looking for candidates with a professional attitude, who are enthusiastic, dedicated and committed to getting the best from the experience, whether you're just starting out, or looking to shake up your skills. You don't need to have ambitions to work at McDonald's, or even in the hospitality sector. The experience will set you up for a role anywhere, developing skills that all employers are looking for, and giving you the confidence to apply. This opportunity is open to those who have reached the minimum school leaving age for employment within your country or region.
