If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you! ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Dementia Care Manager will be to be responsible for the overall management of the Dementia Community,
implementing and embedding t, The Dementia Care Manager at Avery Healthcare's Astbury Manor Care Home in Berkshire plays a pivotal role in managing the Dementia Community. The role demands responsibility for implementing and embedding the companys dementia care strategy while efficiently managing resources within a designated budget. Key responsibilities encompass ensuring accurate care planning that aligns with residents' needs and preferences, fostering caring relationships, and acting as an advocate for residents best interests. The position also involves collaborating with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities for residents with dementia and promoting a culture that maximizes residents' capabilities, independence, and quality of life. The ideal candidate must embody values such as caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, comprehensive understanding of CQC standards, relevant qualifications, and
knowledge about care services and the UK health and social care market.
