Shropshire Council's Passenger Transport Group is looking for a Demand ResponsiveTransport (DRT) Coordinator to lead the Connect On-Demand team who provideessential public transport for customers across Shropshire., The service launched in December 2023 and continues to grow, we are looking for anexperienced leader to coordinate the team and ensure the successful implementationand delivery of the demand responsive transport project. You will also be responsibleand accountable for the team including office staff and drivers associated, acting in asupervisory/managerial capacity. This includes monitoring performance andsupporting development.
We are looking for someone with experience of leading a transport team, managingdrivers and their shift patterns and effectively able to coordinate the team in the officein delivering an outstanding service for our customers.Some knowledge of transport legislation and policies are required.
