Full Job Description
Leading the Delivery Team:
- Oversee daily delivery operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Plan deliveries and ensure accurate, safe loading.
- Conduct plant/vehicle checks and manage outbound deliveries.
- The contracted hours for this role are 37.5, flexible over 7 days. Driving Commercial Success:
- Implement the store's sales plan and make sound commercial decisions.
- Maximize delivery service profitability and promote monthly offers.
- Handle customer inquiries and upsell Selco services. Empowering and Developing the Team:
- Set direction and assign tasks, monitoring results.
- Conduct training, briefings, and inductions for direct reports and drivers.
- Foster a high-support, high-challenge environment and empower colleagues. Operational Leadership & On-Duty Responsibility:
- Act as the senior leader, managing store operations and resolving issues.
- Ensure clear communication and handovers between shifts.
- Serve as a key holder, responsible for opening/closing and security. Service & Store Culture:
- Inspire and lead by example, setting the standard for customer service.
- Promote teamwork and recognize colleagues who embody core values.
- Ensure safe, ethical, and compliant store operations.
