You'll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you'll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like! In return, we use our automated technology to pre plan your route and pre-load your van!

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays - so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £14.42 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions! All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. That's a great deal!

Requirements

What do we need from you?

• You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team.


• Driving Licence Requirements:


• Full UK or EU driving licence


• Minimum of 12 months driving experience


• Maximum of 6 penalty points


• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years


• Some deliveries involve handling of alcohol products; you must be over 18 to apply


• As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are essential

How to Apply

Fill in an online application - there is no CV needed. Our friendly recruitment team will contact you to conduct an Online Licence Check and Right to Work Checks. You will be invited to take a tour of the site to meet the team for a question-and-answer session. A Disclosure Barring System (DBS) check will be run. Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Permanent


• Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)


• Contracted days: 5 days out of 7, 8 hour shifts; further information provided during pre-boarding


• Shifts: AM & PM; start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 12:00 (midnight)


• Check your commute time prior to applying


• Shift rota provided up to 13 weeks in advance

Pay Structure & Rates

The position is lunar paid, paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.

• Basic Rate (Monday to Saturday): £13.78


• Evening Premium (from 6pm): £14.90


• Sunday Day Premium: £15.16


• Sunday Evening Premium: £16.39


• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £17.23


• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £18.35
