Salary £25,185-£25, 989 Per annum |Permanent| Full Time, 37 hours per week| Pendle International Sponsorship - this role is not open to international sponsorship Education and Children's Services - Early Help Service Lancashire County Council is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our Early Help Service as Delivery Centre Support Workers. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day operation of our Family Hubs and Family Centres, ensuring families, children and young people receive a positive, safe and welcoming experience. About the Role Reporting to a Senior Family Support Worker, the post holder will work as part of a local delivery team and provide a high-quality front-of-house service across one or more Family Hubs and Family Centres. You will be responsible for greeting service users, responding to general enquiries, signposting to appropriate services, and supporting the smooth running of centre activities. The role involves using established procedures, digital systems and booking processes to ensure that service users, visitors and partner organisations are supported effectively. You will help maintain a safe, clean and accessible environment and may assist with basic building duties such as opening and securing centres.,

  • Provide a welcoming reception service to families, children, young people and professionals.
  • Respond to general enquiries and signpost users to the most appropriate Early Help or partner services.
  • Support the day-to-day organisation of Neighbourhood Centre rooms, activities and bookings using relevant IT systems.
  • Maintain a safe and suitable environment through routine checks, cleanliness, displays and equipment preparation.
  • Undertake administrative duties including data entry and monitoring service usage in accordance with confidentiality standards.
  • Build positive relationships with service users while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Support staff delivering group sessions where required, ensuring safe supervision ratios.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities, including safeguarding and health and safety.
  • Work flexibly in line with service needs, including occasional evening, weekend or school holiday work.

  • A Level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential. Experience within a public-facing or community service environment is desirable.
