Your role As a Delivery Assurance Consultant, you'll assess plans, risks, issues, governance and reporting, identify delivery risks and help clients improve programme performance through practical, evidence-based recommendations. You'll work with a range of stakeholders, bring together different sources of information and support constructive conversations that help programmes move forward with greater confidence.
- Deliver reviews, health checks and assurance activity.
- Review governance, controls, plans, risks, issues and reporting.
- Work with stakeholders to understand context, gather evidence and build a balanced view.
- Turn analysis into clear findings and practical recommendations.
- Contribute to assurance tools, methods and good practice. All our roles are subject to a minimum of 3 days in the office, either onsite with our clients or at one of our AtkinsRéalis offices, (pro-rata'd for part-time employees). This particular role can be based in Manchester or Cheltenham, and we are looking for candidates who can commit to being onsite for a minimum of 4 days per week.
- Experience in project or programme delivery, PMO, project controls or governance roles.
- Strong understanding of delivery frameworks, governance, controls, planning, risk and reporting.
- Experience supporting or delivering assurance work such as health checks, governance reviews, readiness reviews, stage gates or diagnostics.
- Ability to assess evidence, identify delivery risks and write clear, practical recommendations.
- Able to work with stakeholders at different levels and provide constructive challenge in a professional way. Attributes & Behaviours
- Curious, thoughtful and comfortable exploring complex issues.
- Objective, evidence-led and able to build trust quickly.
- Pragmatic, collaborative and focused on improvement.
