Full Job Description
Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for a nurturing start or an experienced practitioner seeking a change of scenery with a focus on work-life balance, we want to hear from you. The school was inspected in 2025 and remains 'Good' following a Section 8 Ofsted Inspection. Outcomes are also strong at our school. We consider many aspects of our provision to be excellent, and we are now working to secure even further improvements at the school.
Standards of behaviour are very good, and the community is generally very supportive. As a new member of staff, you will find the school to be an extremely welcoming and rewarding environment to teach in.
Maternity covers require someone who can hit the ground running while building instant rapport. We need a teacher who has a warm personality and a genuine interest in people, allowing you to build excellent relationships with students and staff from day one. You will possess a great sense of humour and a love for your subject that keeps students engaged. Crucially, you will be a team player.
You will be stepping into a very stable and experienced department. The geography team pride themselves on being highly committed and always strives to engage students with stimulating, challenging lessons. You will be part of a collaborative engine where resources are shared, and professional development is a priority.
