Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher (Semi-Formal Pathway) to join our specialist provision, working closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, child-centred education for pupils with a range of complex needs., As an SEN Teacher (Semi-Formal Pathway), you will:
- Plan and deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN, including autism, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Develop and implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans in collaboration with SENDCo and therapists
- Use structured, multisensory approaches to support communication, emotional regulation, and engagement
- Create a safe, nurturing and well-structured classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reviews and assessments
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals
We welcome applications from: - Qualified Teachers (QTS/PGCE or equivalent)
- Unqualified Teachers with relevant SEN experience You will have:
- Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN (through placements or employment)
- A strong understanding of inclusive practice and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
