Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Surgery ST 3 to join our dynamic surgical team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in a range of surgical procedures, from pre-operative assessments to post-operative follow-ups. You will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals, gaining invaluable experience in a variety of surgical techniques while honing your skills in patient management and surgical practices. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing patients for surgery, conducting pre-operative evaluations, maintaining sterile environments, and providing support during procedures. Additionally, you will also be involved in the education of junior team members and contribute to the ongoing improvement of surgical protocols within the department.
The ideal candidate will have completed at least two years of basic surgical training and possess relevant experience in a surgical setting. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A strong foundation in anatomy and surgical techniques is essential, and familiarity with the latest surgical technologies will be an advantage. In return for your dedication, we offer a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional development, and competitive remuneration. Join us and be a part of a team that values excellence, collaboration, and the well-being of our patients, while also providing a rewarding pathway for your surgical career growth.
