Decking Installer

Summary

Join Dekboard as a Decking Installer, delivering high-quality UPVC decking solutions across the UK holiday park sector. Help maintain our standards of excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction by installing bespoke outdoor systems nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately measure, cut, and install decking and balustrade systems using site surveys and plans.


• Work independently or within a team to complete decking installations to company standards.


• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.


• Complete and submit job check sheets and installation surveys accurately.


• Maintain a tidy and organised work area, managing waste responsibly.


• Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.


• Travel to various locations with occasional overnight stays as projects demand.


• Promptly report any delays or issues to the Production Manager or site contacts.


• Return unused materials for recycling or reuse where possible.

Required Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (essential for site travel).


• Experience in decking installation, carpentry, or joinery preferred.


• Ability to read and interpret site surveys and technical drawings.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of installation.


• Comfortable working outdoors year-round.


• Physically able to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials.


• Valid CSCS card (desirable but not essential).


• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required.

• Experience leading installation teams or supporting training for new fitters.
