Full Job Description
- Identify correct procedure to remove burrs from components using available tools including hand tools and machines where necessary.
- Identify and understand use of different tools to deburr each new component.
- Understand all deburring methods and in some cases, identify a process of trialling each until most suitable method is found for that component.
- Good eye for detail with excellent hand/eye coordination to ensure satisfactory results. Machines to be set and operated (training will be provided where needed):
- Drilling Machine (for light countersinks / edge breaks etc.)
- Lathes for polishing and deburring
- Vacublast (Beadblaster)
- Sanding Belt
- Gratomat Gear Chamfering Machine
- Honing Machine
- Roll-marking
Must have excellent attention to detail. - Experience of working in a similar role in manufacturing / engineering environment.
