Dean of Health and Medicine

As Dean, you will provide academic leadership to Health and Medicine, supporting the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Health, Medicine, Science and Technology (PVC HMST). The role focuses on leading the external promotion of these disciplines, including with academic institutions and relationships with the NHS and the broader Healthcare domain, supporting the development of education, research and engagement partnerships between businesses, public and charity organisations, and community user groups. It will also provide internal coherence to the faculty of Health and Medicine and promote collaboration across campus, leading initiatives and maximising interdisciplinary opportunities.

We are seeking an outstanding individual with significant experience operating in a strategic leadership position such as Head of Department, Associate Dean or similar. You will bring exceptional people and communication skills, and the ability to build credibility and influence with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. We also require a research record in Health and Medicine and ability to lead research in the sector
