DDF Engineering Lead - Core

Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures:
Architect and oversee the development of data lakes, analytical platforms, and big data pipelines to support supply and R&D functions.
Manage and mentor the data engineering team:
Provide guidance, support, and technical leadership to team members, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
Drive cross-functional data integration and analytics:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to connect disparate data sources, enabling actionable insights and supporting decision-making.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance:
Oversee data acquisition, conversion, and troubleshooting processes, ensuring robust, repeatable, and compliant data solutions in line with internal and external standards

Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and orchestrating data flows and pipelines in cloud environments, specifically using Azure and Databricks.
Domain experience in Supply and R&D:
Demonstrated track record working with data solutions in supply chain , manufacturing, or R&D domains, with the ability to connect multiple data sources to drive business decisions.
Leadership and project management:
Experience leading data engineering teams, managing projects or project steps, and mentoring junior colleagues; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Advanced technical skills:
Proficiency in developing logical and physical data models, implementing big data architectures (data lakes, analytical platforms), and troubleshooting complex data processing issues.

Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and storage solutions to support data analytics and machine learning initiatives. Reporting to the Director-Data engineering solution. The role operates globally in collaboration with teams engineering teams across core products.
