North Tyneside Council is looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Project Manager who will support Property Services to deliver the Authorities capital investment programmes.
We are seeking highly motivated and driven individuals to oversee the diverse programme of works. The post holder will be required to co-ordinate a range of often complex and high-profile projects to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
The successful individual will preferably have experience of project management and NEC3 forms of contract and be able to co-ordinate and report project progress across all identified property and construction activities. This will include the preparation and delivery of reports on progress, risks, issues, and assumptions through to completion of the project.
The successful candidate must also have experience delivering capital investment projects to both domestic and commercial properties and be required to oversee quality assurance inspections following completion of works.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a good construction related knowledge and experience as well as having excellent interpersonal skills and be able to quickly develop effective working relationships with other stakeholders.
The salary is £42,708 - £46,731 per annum.
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, and an Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
