Full Job Description
Are you passionate about supporting people to regain their independence. Reablement Support are looking to recruit a Support Worker to support our Enhanced offer of Reablement. The role is to cover a wrap around overnight service working from 10pm - 8am on a 4 on /4 off Rota over 8 weeks. You'll work within our brilliant Reablement Support Team, supporting people in their own homes across the borough of North Tyneside. We're committed to providing excellent care - with residents treated with dignity, respect, and compassion - and we're looking for people who share the same goal. Your duties will include support with personal care needs and individualised support plans to enable people to regain independence within their own home, following an illness/health need or injury.
- You will be providing short-term intervention of intensive activity to promote people's independence.
- You will be goal setting and taking a personalised approach with involvement from the person and their family.
- Reablement builds on what a person can do already and support them to regain skills and build confidence.
35 hours per week including an enhancement for working weekends & unsociable hours - A uniform and mobile phone
- Paid travel time and mileage allowance of 52p per mile in between visits
- 25 days paid holiday per year increasing to 29 after 5 years
