Longbenton High School is a modern, vibrant and welcoming space, committed to providing a clean, safe and healthy environment for students and staff. We are looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team. Hours are flexible and will be discussed at the interview. The main responsibilities will be;

• Clean designated areas within the school premises to a high standard ensuring they are kept in a clean, safe and hygienic condition.
• Areas to be cleaned will include classrooms, stairways, offices, halls, gyms, specialist units and toilets.
• Use of general electrical equipment including polishers and vacuums.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  
  Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to ensuring a safe environment for children.
• Good time management.
• Enthusiastic and reliable.
