Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Day Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a very well-maintained site set across 65 acres, comprising a variety of buildings including offices, gym facilities, eating areas and group spaces.
This is a client-facing role within a large, high-quality environment where engineering standards and service delivery are paramount., We are looking for a qualified electrical professional who can carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and additional works or emergencies in line with contractual requirements.
The successful candidate will work to strict health and safety standards while ensuring plant reliability, accurate documentation and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with set schedules
Undertake reactive electrical maintenance and emergency works as required
Act as Authorised Person (LV) when required
Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise plant reliability
Adhere to HASAWA and all site health and safety procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation for electrical PPM and plant
Respond promptly to helpdesk requests and electrically related issues
Carry out technical surveys and report findings to the Senior Critical Engineering Manager (SCEM)
Proven experience with electrical PPM and reactive maintenance works
Experience working within large corporate or similar environments (desirable)
LV experience essential; HV experience advantageous (training can be provided)
Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage enquiries and complaints
Ability to produce material cost lists for minor works
Qualifications
Fully qualified electrician
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
Completed Electrical Apprenticeship
IPAF and PASMA (or willingness to obtain), Disability Confident
