Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DATACOM SME (Data Communication Subject Matter Expert) to provide technical leadership and expertise in enterprise networking and data communication technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting complex network infrastructures while ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and security. The role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, security, cloud, and operations teams to deliver reliable and efficient networking services. In this role, You will
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise for LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Data Center networking technologies.
- Lead network transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure seamless connectivity and service delivery.
- Support network security implementations including firewalls, NAC, segmentation, and secure access solutions.
- Develop network architecture, standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Evaluate new networking technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement., Provide expert-level support and guidance for enterprise network environments.
- Ensure network availability, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Act as an escalation point for critical network incidents and operational issues.
- Drive network standardization, governance, and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with business, infrastructure, cloud, and security stakeholders.
- Support infrastructure transformation and cloud migration programs.
- Deliver technical documentation, operational procedures, and solution designs.
- Continuously identify opportunities for network modernization and operational improvements. Primary Skillset

Typically 8+ years of experience in Network Infrastructure, Data Communication, and Enterprise Networking. - Strong experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise network environments.
- Experience supporting LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wireless Networking, Network Security technologies, Data Center, and Cloud Connectivity solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with leading network technologies and platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Huawei, Fortinet, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching concepts.
- Strong understanding of Data Center networking architectures.
- Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of network redundancy, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers. Desired Qualifications
- Cisco Certifications (CCNP, CCIE) or equivalent networking certifications.
- Juniper (JNCIP/JNCIE), Aruba, Fortinet, or Huawei certifications.
- Experience with Cloud Networking including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Network Automation tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of Network Security frameworks and Zero Trust principles.
- ITIL Foundation or Service Management experience.
- Experience working in global enterprise environments.
- Exposure to Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
