We are working closely with a local authority in Shropshire to assist with the appointment of a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst, on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., The Senior Data & Reporting Analyst is a key member of the Insight Team, responsible for delivering high-quality business intelligence, reporting, analytics, forecasting, predictive modelling, and data-driven insights that support Adult Social Care services and transformation programmes. The role will play a critical part in supporting Adult Social Care transformation initiatives, including demand forecasting, front-door transformation programmes, CQC inspection readiness, and continuous service improvement. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions to support Adult Social Care services.
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with organisational requirements.
- Provide analytical support for Adult Social Care transformation, improvement, and reform programmes.
- Implement monitoring processes and support compliance with the Council's Data Quality Strategy.
- Translate complex technical information into clear and accessible insights for non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to the development of business intelligence standards, procedures, and best practices.
Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Essentials: - Significant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or performance management roles.
- Experience supporting organisational transformation, service improvement, or change programmes.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and information management practices.
- Understanding of forecasting, predictive analytics, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Awareness of data protection, information governance, and regulatory requirements.
