Full Job Description

The Data and Quality Manager provides business intelligence support to extract, validate and analyse data reports from existing information systems.

The post holder will support the Directorate Manager, Clinical Director and Lead Nurse at Connect Northwest, in the provision of timely reports and presentation of data, whilst linking with the Northwest Neonatal Operational Delivery Network.

Main duties of the job

The role involves monitoring the quality of data within the Connect Northwest's IT systems to ensure compliance with NHS standards and providing feedback and guidance to staff as a consequence.

The Data and Quality Manager will carry out specified audit programmes and will monitor, analyse, and generate actions plans to support improvement of identified data quality issues.

The successful candidate will ensure all databases are maintained and updated as required including dashboards relating to national and local service standards for Neonatal Transport.

Provide training and support to new members of the team on the Medicus system and manage permissions.

Develop innovative ways of presenting complex data in a clear and concise format whilst working to deadlines for data submission.
