Data Product Owner Location: London (Hybrid) Type: Full Time Contract type: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract Application closing date: 6 February 2026 PureGym values data-driven decision-making and is seeking a Data Product Owner on a 9-month fixed-term contract to lead the evolution of our group data platform. You will work closely with the Group Head of Insights & Analytics, and with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical outcomes. Our cloud-based technology stack, built on Azure Databricks, ensures data is reliably and easily available and will continue to evolve into a group data platform. Responsibilities
- Create, maintain and execute near-term roadmap for our data and reporting
- Translate and prioritise roadmap features and business needs into well-defined product requirements, including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure work is structured and meets stakeholders' needs
- Advocate for and drive agile practices to ensure continuous delivery and improvement
- Create transparency and trust in data and ways of working through structured stakeholder engagement and communication
- Contribute to the evangelisation of the use of data
- Collaborate with the Technology Change function to ensure alignment on best practices and approaches across the technology function
- Contribute to the strategy and vision of the overarching Insights & Analytics function The person you are
- 3+ years in data and/or product roles
- Experience with: + B2C, ideally subscription businesses + Applying product thinking to data products + Working with a multi-geography business
- Good understanding of product management and agile practices
- Desire to work closely with business stakeholders and see work delivering real-world impact and enabling a data culture
- Excellent communicator across all mediums and strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for the use of data to drive decision making and business outcomes
- Interest in and understanding of applications of AI within business
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver value-focused prioritisation
- Positive, problem solving, and entrepreneurial approach
