Full Job Description
This is a key role in the Primary Care Mental Health Services - West. The role will aid in the development of and reporting of all of the PCMHS performance targets from team level to senior managers and providing support to the teams in meeting these targets. Your focus will be on the highly skilled use of Excel. This role will not require SQL, Python or Power BI (BI may be used in the future). Highly expert use of Excel will be essential for this role. You will be required to work across PCMHS - West and potentially assisting similar reporting for PCMHS - East within HPFT to develop and provide information reports drawn from the patient database to support the achievement of targets and apply understanding of data quality to ensure information is correct.,
- To analyse, develop, interpret, and present performance information using Excel to a high standard, and support the services in promoting the use and understanding of information provided.
- To support operational teams with the delivery of performance targets.
- To monitor performance against service targets and give appropriate feedback using Excel and presentations such as on Powerpoint.
- To support the management and achievement of waiting time targets across PCMHS.
- To assist with the development and delivery of training for operational teams around the achievement of KPI targets.
- To support the development and maintenance of the performance management framework involving high level skills in Microsoft Excel and other information systems as necessary.
- High level analysis of data and interpretation of trends etc using Excel. Ability to reflect this graphically.
- To support the development of systems, improving and adapting existing reports and designing reports for use by PCMHS staff.
- Support the implementation of new performance management systems and communication with staff. · Work closely with the IM&T team in the development of performance management report writing.,

You will require excellent analytical skills on Excel with experience of complex datasets, forecasting and reporting of organisational performance to Senior Managers using Excel. You will be expected to be highly numerate and have excellent communication skills., - Degree level qualification or equivalent
- Evidence of continuing professional development or equivalent experience., Minimum of 2 years' experience within large or complex organisation that necessitated working independently without day to day direction.
- Understanding of performance principles and processes and ability to translate into working practices
- Understanding of data sources and performance information for both the Trust and within the wider NHS and social care agenda
- Experience of analysis and interpretation of complex information from different sources Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of national NHS priorities and targets, Ability to communicate verbally and written to senior managers and work effectively in partnership with them
- Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise format
- Proven report writing skills
- Proven presentation skills Desirable criteria
- Influencing skills in order to promote positive change, Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and reflect this graphically.
- Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent eye for 'detail' and ability to proof read complex data within documents. Desirable criteria
