Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in the telecoms industry. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that support the ETL of diverse datasets. Your analytical and visualisation skills will enable the creation of BI reporting to drive data-led decision-making across our programme., 1. Analyse and interpret telecoms datasets, integrating various data sources to generate actionable business insights. 2. Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for processing large telecoms data sets using cloud platforms (eg, GCP). 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions. 4. Implement robust data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency. 5. Build and deliver intuitive BI reports for business stakeholders. 6. Integrate with existing data teams, adhering to established standards and methodologies. 7. Mentor junior team members, supporting their development with technical guidance and best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, ideally within telecoms or workforce management sectors.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing.
  • Expertise in designing and building ETL pipelines and data solutions.
  • Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
  • Experience with BI tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience with data transformation tools like Dataform or DBT.
  • Workflow orchestration experience using tools such as Composer or Airflow.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment., Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications in cloud computing or data engineering.
  • Understanding of telecom protocols and industry standards.
