Data Centre Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the operational delivery of a multi-site data centre portfolio for a major banking client. You will manage a team of Technical Managers and ~55-60 engineers to ensure safe, reliable operation of critical power, cooling and M&E systems in a 24/7 environment. You will drive incident management, escalation, RCA and performance against KPIs and SLAs, while maintaining compliance and strong client relationships. You will also oversee projects and soft services within the integrated facilities management model, shaping service excellence across the portfolio. Pay / Benefits

• Lead operational management of multiple data centres across Peterborough and Corby Manage Technical Managers and ~55-60 engineers in a 24/7 critical environment Oversee critical infrastructure including power, cooling, high voltage and M&E systems Lead incident management, escalation processes and root cause analysis Manage KPIs, SLAs, compliance and operational performance Maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and specialist teams Oversee portfolio project activity to minimise operational risk Provide oversight of soft services (security, cleaning, waste management) within the integrated FM model Tasks Demonstrable experience in a Data Centre Manager or equivalent leadership role Strong background in critical environments and mission-critical facilities High voltage experience and an Authorised Person (AP) background Experience managing large engineering teams across multiple sites Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence at senior level Strong understanding of incident management, business continuity and operational resilience Experience managing budgets, commercial performance, KPIs and SLAs Hands-on leadership style with ability to make informed decisions under pressure Key requirements
