Data Architect Salary circa £70,000 negotiable based on skills and experience. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) Newcastle upon Tyne - hybrid working with minimum 2 days office working per week or home based. What youll do Collaborate with
stakeholders to develop your long-term, strategic roadmap to implement our data strategy to achieve our vision. Design and evolve data architectures that support advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring data is well-governed, high quality, and fit for purpose. Lead challenging data projects with a focus on deriving value from data how it benefits our customers. Youll support the team, and wider department on their endeavours with your specialist knowledge, whether thats helping with data modelling, integration or data quality your insight will be invaluable. Present and adapt your roadmaps to your peers, senior leaders, or at events to share your knowledge, seek feedback, and foster collaboration. strategy that incorporates people, process and technology. In-depth knowledge of data modelling principles, techniques and tools with an ability to rapidly upskill in new areas or technologies, adapting to emerging needs. Experience designing data architectures that support advanced analytics, machine learning, or AI use cases, underpinned by strong data governance and quality. Strong expertise in database and data warehousing technologies such as SQL, Oracle and Databricks. Experience of working with internal or external customers to design robust, commercially sound technical solutions. Outstanding communication skills, ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Stronger together We do our best work when were ourselves.
