Reporting into our Data Architect, you will be accountable for data assets within our presentational layer. This will include the maintenance and growth of our data warehouse, supporting business functions by building an effective data mart, developing and maintaining semantic models in collaboration with our report writers.

Based in Hoddesdon/Farringdon, this role requires an individual who is technically an expert in data transformation design, data modelling principles, and data warehouse and data mart development. This role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear and concise communication skills.

As an ICT Data Analyst you will be involved in the delivery of data objects for the report writer teams with the following responsibilities;

Design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient data warehouses, data marts and semantic models using SQL SMS and Power BI
Collaboration within the data team to understand requirements and design models that support business requirements
Test validity of models by building Power BI reports, support data quality report builds
Obtain a strong understanding of business logic and apply it to data marts and models
Monitor model performance, troubleshoot bugs and their root causes effectively and proactively work on maintaining data reliability in models

You'll have demonstratable experience as a Data Analyst in Azure environment for medium/large organisation.
Preferable to have Azure qualifications/certifications for data analysis.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant subjects, or the equivalent on-the-job experience/professional certification.
