Full Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Pensions Data Analyst, within our lively Pensions Department, to support the day-to-day delivery of many pensions related activities. You'll be a key member of the team, delivering a wide range of administration and pensions system related processes. Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Work as part of a Project team on a number of data driven pension projects
- Support the Project team and other Departments in the running/processing of business as usual (BAU) activities, the management of data and the production of detailed analysis reports and communications.
- Assist the other teams by following more sophisticated tasks, procedures and processes
- Work with and support subject matter experts (SMEs) in the delivery of new and established processes
- Work on multiple projects or work streams at any given time
- Review, manage and maintain project documentation
- Help produce and develop training mentorship and procedures
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Maintain system held standard documents including letters and historical practice manuals.
Strong experience in the use of Excel (using formula) to manipulate, analyse and present data to one or more collaborators - Experience in collecting, analysing and interpreting large amounts of data from various sources using various tools and extracting mechanisms
- Experience in following detailed processes whilst identifying inconsistencies in data sets to ensure they are complete, clean, and consistent Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
- Confident with MS Office software (including Word)
- Capability to balance multiple project tasks at any given time
- Organised and meticulous in keeping on top of things
- Methodical in following defined process instructions
- Possess an analytical thought process
- The ability to work proactively and within a fast-paced flexible environment is key
- You will adopt change by taking it in stride
- Building positive relationships within the team, department, personnel and collaborators is extremely meaningful
The ITV Pensions team in Preston is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ITV Pension Scheme for its members. The team uses their expertise to coordinate and supervise all aspects of the Scheme.
