Full Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, curious and collaborative Data Analyst to join our Central Data Team, a role where your analysis will directly influence decision making across 37 academies and help improve life chances for thousands of students. This is your opportunity to work at scale, innovate with systems, and become a trusted expert for leaders across the trust. Reporting to the Trust Data Analysis Lead, you'll deliver high impact analysis that drives clear decisions across the trust. You'll work closely with the Lead and central data team to maintain consistent, standardised data collection frameworks, while building strong relationships with academy representatives to ensure smooth, accurate data flow. You bring expertise in Excel, Power BI and MIS systems. This is a role for someone who thrives on transforming complex data into meaningful intelligence that drives improvement.

Y ou will have:

  • At least a level 4 qualification and/or have relevant vocational experience.
  • Proven experience of working in data management, organising, maintaining and developing information systems.
  • Experience of working with databases or software such as Power BI to bring together large amounts of data from various sources.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of measuring performance, qualification levels and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection legislation.
  • The ability to manage, manipulate and present data in a clear and concise way which is appropriate for the relevant audience.
  • Experience with working with a variety of stakeholders and able to work collaboratively to achieve results.

The Cabot Learning Federation is a mature multi-academy trust in the South West of England which promotes the delivery of excellent educational experiences for our pupils, improving their life chances.
  • The core purpose of the CLF is at the HEART of all we do. Our vision is simple: we believe that by working together rather than in isolation we can accelerate school improvement and embed excellence in our academies. In doing so, together we can create more opportunities for the lifelong success for our students. Why work at CLF? We are a diverse and inclusive community of 37 academies across five cluster regions in the South West that is committed to excellence and making a positive impact. Our people bring unique perspectives, but we're all driven by a shared moral purpose and a passion for making a positive impact, whether in a teaching, leadership or support role. We're proud to foster a culture where everyone can thrive, feel valued, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of others. We are an equal opportunity employer and proud to serve a diverse student population and our communities. We strongly believe that representation matters and so encourage applications from underrepresented and global majority groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion. We aim to remove any barriers to employment, ensuring everyone can compete on equal terms. Job share, part-time and flexible working opportunities will be considered.

  • Access to a generous pension through the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
  • Generous annual leave.
  • A comprehensive induction and ongoing commitment to wellbeing and career progression, through a range of training, apprenticeships and in-role/wider-trust development opportunities.
  • Well-being support through an Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Health benefits, including wellness sessions, gym discounts, and flu jabs.
  • A range of generous family leave options, including above industry average occupational maternity pay.
  • Additional benefits like cycle to work scheme, on-site parking plus many more!
