Full Job Description
Job Title: Primary TeacherCompany Overview: The Supply Register are a managed service working alongside 5 multi academy trusts within Devon & Cornwall including Dartmoor Academy TrustWe are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team on a temporary basis to cover short-term absences and provide continuity of education for our students.Position Overview: We are looking for a full time Reception teacher for North Tawton Primary. Phonics experience is essential and Read, Write Inc training is desireable also. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain continuity of learning.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication during periods of teacher absence.Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.Previous experience teaching in education settings is preferred but not essential.Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
