Full Job Description

  • Act as the primary internal contact for Business Central support and usage
  • Provide first-line support for users across multiple business functions
  • Investigate and resolve posting errors, stock discrepancies, and transactional issues
  • Monitor data quality and transactional accuracy, reducing manual fixes and rework
  • Enforce consistent system usage and agreed business processes
  • Perform root-cause analysis and prevent repeat issues through training and process change
  • Support master data governance in collaboration with the Business Central Lead
  • Deliver user training, onboarding, and refresher sessions
  • Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, and user documentation
  • Support rollout and adoption of ERP enhancements and process changes
  • Coordinate with third-party support partners where required

  • Office 365, We are recruiting a Business Central Operations Lead for our Manchester office. This hybrid role allows for three days a week in the office and offers a competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000, depending on experience. You will play a vital role in ensuring the operational use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is efficient and effective. Our team is dedicated to improving data quality and system adoption, providing you with the opportunity to make a real impact on business performance.

    Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a live environment
  • Experience supporting ERP users across operations, finance, or supply chain teams
  • Strong understanding of inventory, warehousing, and transactional processes
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot system and posting issues
  • Confident communicator able to influence and guide non-technical users
  • Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain environments (desirable)
  • Experience supporting ERP rollouts or system upgrades (desirable)
  • Exposure to data governance or master data processes (desirable)
  • Detail-driven, practical, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable challenging poor processes and incorrect system usage
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Able to balance user support with firm process enforcement
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment
