Full Job Description

The successful candidate will provide a specialist nursing role working as part of the multidisciplinary CYPMHS team to provide the best care for children and young people with a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Candidates are required to have extensive knowledge in child development, neurodevelopmental disorders, risk assessment and comorbid mental health conditions. The candidate would also be involved in the development and leadership of ADHD clinics which would include a non-medical prescribing role.

The post holders will support their peers and team coordinator and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. They will supervise other staff members as required. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
