Cyber Security Governance & Assurance Specialist
Job Location: GBR London - 5 Canada Square
Advertised Salary: Competitive Salary + Benefits
Career Grade: D
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.)
Due to security requirements, this role requires you to be located on site during your working hours. Mon-Fri 37.5 hours. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

Impact of the role
The IA and Technical Compliance lead the Complex Customer logical Security risk management programs, which is designed to ensure that the Complex customer services and data are adequately protected.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for the development of risk management frameworks and any associated actions or steps.
- Responsible for development of Security documents to support the required cyber security and risk management frameworks.
- Monitoring and reporting of security contract obligations status.
- Supporting system and software engineers with control implementation.
- Ensuring test plans assess the adherence to relevant control requirements.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Information Security Strategy
- Security governance
- Information risk management
- Security Controls
- Stakeholder Management
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Security industry recognised certification e.g. CISSP
- Industry Security Frameworks and Accreditations experience i.e ISO, NIST
- Experienced Leadership and Operational experience within industry
- Understanding of Security Landscape and specialisms of those domains
- Significant Risk Management, and Accreditation expertise
