Introduction
As a Cyber Security Operations Apprentice, you will help protect IT, OT and cloud systems by monitoring security alerts, supporting investigations and assisting with incident response. You'll use security tools to identify risks, record findings and develop practical cyber security skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You'll Do
- Help monitor security systems and look for anything unusual.
- Support the review of security alerts with guidance from the team.
- Report security issues to more experienced team members when needed.
- Keep clear records of what you find and the actions taken.
- Learn how organisations protect their systems and respond to security incidents.
- Build your security knowledge
- Maintain awareness of security risks
- Use and support security tools
- Represent the Cyber Security team
- Support planning, reporting and compliance
- Follow secure standards and ways of working
- Support security improvements
- Guide and support cybersecurity across the business
Training Outcome
The apprentice will secure a permanent role. From there, they will have the opportunity to continue developing within the company.
