Male Personal Assistant Required for an energetic young person who needs structure and safety., We are looking for a male Personal Assistant to support a high energy young person who requires structure, safety and active engagement. Support will take place mainly at weekends during term time, with hours arranged flexibly depending on how the child is feeling.
This young person is fast, impulsive and has limited danger awareness. They need support to play safely around other children and to manage boundaries. They require a small amount of personal care to assist with toileting. They enjoy all sports involving a ball, climbing, running, soft play and parks, and benefit from a PA who can keep up with them, stay alert and help them channel their energy positively.
The PA will support the child on active outings, to stay safe in the community, with structured play and clear boundaries, with personal care, and in a way that helps them remain engaged and regulated. Flexibility is important, as the child's energy levels and support needs may vary from week to week.
We require a male worker (genuine occupational requirement) who is active, confident and able to keep pace. They will need to be reliable and consistent with boundaries, comfortable supporting toileting needs, and understanding of impulsivity and safety awareness.
